In 2004, during a moving time of prayer, I had a very clear image of the Basque Country from above. It was pitch black but you could just make out the sea, the mountains and the relief of the land.
Small lights began to pop up in different locations across the Basque Country. Occasionally they would move, join together and shine as one big light before returning to their spots. Then more lights began to spring up around each individual light. And so it continued until the whole country was covered in light!
When we took on Olabe in 2016, I made a promise to God that the first conference to be held there would be “a thousand lights”.
