We are beautifully different. Many shapes, sizes, accents and ages. Some of us like AC/DC, others prefer Liszt. We are snowflakes. Here today, gone tomorrow, each one unique. We’ve been challenged by the teachings and example of a Jewish carpenter who started a global revolution, shaking the earth to its core.
As Christians, we share a living faith in Jesus and a desire for others to know him too. Jesus spoke to his friends in Aramaic. Ours speak many languages including Basque, English, French, Russian, Norwegian and Berber. There’s a fire in us that doesn’t go out and just like love, it cannot be explained by science. The Holy Spirit is alive in us, leading us, correcting us, challenging and comforting us. When we meet together to pray, worship and fellowship, we stoke the fire.
